One firm that designs it, sources it and builds it, with people we employ.
Maxwell Building Services is a design build remodeling firm founded in 2014, with our corporate address in Birmingham and a design studio in Hazel Park where clients choose their materials in person.
We build high end kitchens, bathrooms, lower levels, additions and whole home renovations in Birmingham, Bloomfield, Franklin and communities across Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties. We also build rooms most remodelers don't, like golf simulator rooms and home classrooms.
What makes the firm work is that there is no handoff. The designer who draws your project and the team who builds it work together from the first sketch to the final walkthrough, under one contract, with one warranty behind the result.

Design, material sourcing and construction under one roof with our own crews. One contract, one point of accountability, no gap between the drawing and the finished room.
02 – Published Pricing
We publish what our work costs by scope and by city. Almost nobody at our tier does, and it means you know whether we are in your range before you spend an evening on a consultation.
03 – A Real Design Studio
Cabinetry, tile, stone and finishes you can see and handle before anything is ordered. We are an authorized Dura Supreme dealer, and selections happen in person.
04 – Five-Year Warranty
Our workmanship carries a five-year warranty, and your full project record stays in the app afterward, so we are not asking you to prove what was installed or when.

Cabinetry
We design and install Dura Supreme cabinetry in the framed Crestwood and frameless Bria lines, so your cabinets are built to the inch for your space instead of pulled from stock sizes.
Straight answer
We are not the right firm for every job.
We don't reface cabinets and we don't paint them. Every kitchen we build starts new, which puts our smallest kitchens around $45,000. If a cosmetic refresh is what your house needs, a specialist will serve you better and cost you far less.
We are the right firm when the project calls for custom cabinetry, layout changes, an older home with complications behind the plaster, or a homeowner who would rather deal with one accountable team than coordinate three.
