The design centers around a timeless combination of white stone-inspired surfaces, warm natural wood, and brass finishes. Large-format marble-look porcelain tile extends across the bathroom floor and into the walk-in shower, creating a bright, continuous backdrop that makes the room feel larger and more open.
Rather than replacing everything, the existing wood vanity was carefully restored and refinished to preserve its original craftsmanship. The rich wood tones provide warmth and contrast against the surrounding white finishes, while a new quartz countertop, updated hardware, and contemporary mirrors give the vanity a completely refreshed appearance. Brass plumbing fixtures and coordinating hardware introduce another layer of warmth throughout the bathroom.
The spacious walk-in shower features a custom frameless glass enclosure with a coordinating quartz bench and curb, maintaining clear sightlines throughout the room and contributing to the open, spa-inspired design. What the pictures don’t show is that one of the most important parts of this renovation was deciding what not to replace. The existing wood vanity had beautiful craftsmanship and was worth preserving, so rather than tearing it out, we carefully restored and refinished it for the new bathroom.
The vanity was updated with a new quartz countertop, hardware, plumbing fixtures, and surrounding finishes, allowing us to completely change its appearance while keeping an original piece of the room intact.
Renovation isn’t always about starting over. Sometimes the better solution is recognizing what is worth saving and finding a way to make it work within an entirely new design.
